CEO / OWNER

Lucas Bourgeois, CEO and founder of LU Design Build, is a second-generation business owner, licensed professional, RE investor, and expert craftsman with over two decades of personal experience managing and working on all types of design build projects, large and small. Born and raised in St. Louis and coming from a large family full of small business owners, Lucas has learned the true meaning of hard work. He loves empowering his growing staff to think creatively while delighting clients. Luke lives in St. Louis with his wife and two children.

SENIOR DESIGNER

A lifelong resident of St. Louis, Jennifer developed a love for interior design at an early age. While in interior design school, Jennifer interned for several major interior design firms and began working for The Lawrence Group prior to graduation. Jennifer has been working with LU Design Build since 2016 and is very passionate about creating spaces that truly impact the way clients live. Since working for the LU team, she has had two projects recognized by Houzz—Kitchen of the Week & Bathroom of the Week—and was nominated for Best Kitchen 2018 by Ladue News. Jennifer currently lives in Chesterfield with her husband, twin boys, and dog, Sadie. 

OFFICE MANAGER

Trish Bourgeois and her husband, Louie, have been in the remodeling industry for over 40 years. They have remodeled and renovated residential homes, duplexes, apartment buildings, business offices, and restaurants for clients and for themselves. She knows the ins and outs of the business and strives to keep the back-end running seamlessly for those out front. Trish and Louie have raised 5 daughters and 5 sons - 4 of those sons now work in the residential remodeling industry. Her hobbies and interests include horticulture, traveling, quilting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

PROJECT SUPPORT MANAGER & MARKETING DIRECTOR

Originally from a small town in central Missouri, Crystal moved to St. Louis over 20 years ago to get her degree in mass communication from Lindenwood University. She briefly left St. Louis, but decided it was the perfect blend of a small town and big city, and never looked back. A true advocate for restoration, Crystal’s passion for refinishing furniture and love for remodeling increased dramatically after rehabbing her own home. She brings years of experience in customer service and administration to the team. Outside of work, she's a passionate DIYer, always seeking new culinary adventures, and a traveler of both near and far. Her latest home renovation project keeps her busy and inspired.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

After college, Adam contracted for a tub and tile company specializing in tub refinishing for several years. He also installed shower, floor, and backsplash tile.  Eventually, he became a carpenter for a large middle Tennessee company installing kitchen and bathrooms, and then managing remodeling projects. When he moved his family back to St. Louis, he became a Project Manager at LU Design/Build before being promoted to Construction Manager. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, taking road trips, camping, canoeing, biking, and playing basketball.

SENIOR LEAD CARPENTER

Matt has construction in his blood; he grew up in a family of carpenters and has been involved in new construction, remodeling, and historic restoration for as long as he can remember. He loves taking on large and intricate projects and seeing the clients’ and designers’ visions becoming reality through skills and hard work.  He loves the craft of carpentry and mentoring young carpenters. When he is not working, you can find him playing music or spending time with his family. 

LEAD CARPENTER

Zach brings over 15 years of experience in general and finish carpentry to his role at LU Design Build. With a specialty in kitchens and bathrooms, he has a proven track record of creating stunning and functional living spaces.His dedication to quality is evident not only in his craftsmanship but also in his educational background. Zach holds a degree in Building Inspection and Code Enforcement Technology from Forest Park College, ensuring that his work meets the highest standards.At LU Design Build, Zach thrives on collaboration, working closely with his team to tackle high-end projects. His passion for creating exceptional spaces is matched only by his commitment to providing excellent customer service.When he's not transforming homes, Zach enjoys expressing his creativity through music. He is also a dedicated supporter of his son's hockey team, cherishing the time spent with his family.
